In 2024, Jeff Smith, son of owners and employee of 34 years. Along with his wife Telena, both felt that the city outgrew them and moved the business and home to Oklahoma.
Robert Maserang along with Norman Fitzgerald were both engineers and avid fishermen looking to combine both skill sets.
In 1970 M-F was established, the fishing industry was very small at the time of no internet, e-commerce, logistics were limited, and marketing was very tough.
Nationwide the traveled to small tackle shows with
booth set ups they were on a mission with custom blended soft plastic, very limited colors and hand carved master molds for the average fisherman.
With fantastic customer service and experience in the shop we love building lifetime customer relationships usually having a hand in every new bait maker in soft plastic.
